Data requests
Your privacy questions belong here. Email [email protected] to make a request.
What can I request?
Depending on the applicable law, you can ask to access or receive a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, or receive portable data. See the Privacy policy for your rights and how LoveRing handles information.
What to include
- The type of request and the information or processing it concerns.
- Your linked account email and sign-in method, if you have one.
- Your displayed alias or account reference, if known, to help locate the account.
Send from your linked email when possible. Tell us if your account was not synced or you no longer have access. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity and locate your account before releasing or changing personal data.
Do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment-card details, or another person’s private data. Submitting a request does not require posting your information publicly.
Changes you can make in the app
Use Profile & Settings to edit your first name, gender, or photo; change your alias or avatar; choose your connection style; turn visibility off; or delete your account. In an anonymous connection, you can cancel a reveal request or withdraw profile sharing.
Turning off Visible nearby requests removal from discovery. Existing Radar results refresh separately. Revoking device permission stops further permitted location collection but does not instantly clear a last-known visibility lease.
Deletion requests
For full account deletion, follow Delete account, including the option to request help without access to the app. Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription. Limited records may remain for safety, legal, or security purposes under our policy.
Other people’s information
A data request concerns your personal information. It does not grant access to another person’s unrevealed profile, private birthday, exact location, or account. Responses may need to protect the rights and privacy of others.
Questions or complaints
Contact [email protected] if you have questions about a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local data protection authority, as applicable.
